Education - South Dakota State University (Animal Science Pre-vet), University of South Dakota (business), Willmar Technical College (A.A.S.V.T.) Years at St Robert Bellarmine Academy - 8 years Number of Years Teaching - 15 years Interests and Hobbies - Dog training and breeding, reading, photography. crafting, quilting, and sewing. Favorite Book - I love books, but I can't choose just one favorite book. Favorite Thing About St Robert's - St Robert Bellarmine Academy has been known for it's familial atmosphere. This is what I love the most about St Robert's. It is how we interact like a family would. We genuinely care about each other, and everyone lends a helping hand whether it be teacher to teacher, student to student, student to teacher, etc. Our parents are just as helpful and supportive. It is a wonderful community to have had my own children grow up. Favorite Thing About Teaching: I love getting to witness the moments where you can actually see a child make the connection to what is being taught. I call them the light-bulb moments. Their whole face lights up with excitement as it all clicks. My favorite subject to teach or tutor is reading. I am a firm believer that a child who loves to read can learn anything. ← Back |
